When you request the free 7-day trial of the Software (the "Free Trial"), we collect the following limited technical data solely to prevent abuse of the trial offer (e.g., a single user repeatedly downloading new trials on multiple email addresses or accounts):

• Email address: the address you submit on the demo download form, used to send you the download link, occasional product updates (if you opt in), and to enforce a one-trial-per-email rule.
• IP address: the IP address you connect from at the moment of download. We truncate IPv6 addresses to a /64 prefix (the standard customer assignment) so we cannot uniquely identify a residential connection beyond that granularity. Used to enforce a one-trial-per-network rule for 30 days.
• Machine identifier (hash): while the trial software is running, our companion app computes a non-reversible SHA-256 hash that combines your Windows MachineGuid, hostname, CPU model, and OS platform identifier. This hash is sent to our license server. We do not collect or store the underlying values, only the hash. Used to detect if the same physical machine attempts to activate multiple distinct trial builds on different MT5 demo accounts.
• MT5 account number and broker server name: sent to our license server while the trial is running, so we can bind a specific trial build to the first MT5 account that activates it.

Legal basis: legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR — protecting our service against fraudulent reuse of a free trial. Retention: 24 months from the date of activation, after which the records are purged. Your rights: you may request access, correction, or deletion of these records at any time by emailing contact@pulsar-technologies.io; we will action verified requests within 30 days.
